The British band has a sound described as “a heart-crushing mix of distorted British pedal rock and US alternative guitar pop” and is constantly compared with Coldplay, although they state that only inept and lazy journalists fall back on comparisons.

Another great song from Snow Patrol is Run, a slow and beautiful song that Coldplay had wished they wrote and played.
